as i’ve mentioned before – this senior season has been one for the boys!
chalk up another one to the list.
meet quinton.
he should have won some kind of “sure – i’ll do whatever you want me to do” award

gotta love this ‘gq-ish’ style:

meet my friend allyn – aka blondie. i’ve had the privilege of photographing her two older sisters… with one left to go! here’s a little bit of everything from our various sessions. not only was allyn a champ in front of the camera, she may be following in my footsteps. let’s just say we both share some serious photo lovin! so – here’s to you girl – thanks for the hours of fun!!

i also owe a big thanks to this girl here – she’s so good at being my assistant now that i don’t even need to tell her what to do! and yes, in case you couldn’t tell, they are sisters.

being that i don’t get to shoot dudes as often as i shoot gals, i had to take advantage of beau’s athletic abilities. he’s in three sports, so let’s just say we had our choices of uniforms. here’s some of my favs – he has such amazing eyes.

it’s like christmas time for me – i just love the high school senior season! while editing these i couldn’t help but replay those lyrics in my head “the future’s so bright… i gotta wear shades”. i hope i’m not totally dating myself by saying that! anyways, it goes well with this senior session too!
thanks for rockin it out kelsey – i knew you had it in you!!

so upon meeting jess we get talkin about where she’s from. i just assumed she lived in the “grandville bubble”, but i quickly discovered she lives out in the country on a farm. i had to stop for a minute – you live on a farm and we’re doing your pics in downtown GR? it made me laugh! on top of that she’s this fabulous dancer – now that’s one fun combination! so in between us talking about cows & dancing we mixed it up a little bit – trying to keep the farm girl alive in the “big” city of grand rapids! jess was totally up for anything i asked her to do – even if it was a little out of her comfort zone - thanks girl!

being the youngest, all my life the one thing i always wanted was for my mom to have another baby. seeing that was out of the question, i moved on to animals… specifically dogs. well, that wasn’t an option either. my dad did say that when i got married i could get a dog – seems that i must have overlooked that question in pre-marriage counseling! anyways, when maddie showed up today for her senior session with her little friend, i instantly knew she was cool. so from one dog love to another – enjoy maddie! it was great meeting you (and rudy) today. oh and heads up, i’m making up for my lack of blogging – i had a hard time picking!! you’re just to darn cute!

although we loved rudy, it was maddie’s day…

thanks for workin it girl!
